FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK: Friday Nov. 6th From 5 to 9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month, the Art Galleries of St. Augustine feature new exhibits, refreshments and live music at more than 20 galleries. HOPTINGER GRAND OPENING: Nov 6th – 11th 9 p.m. Hoptinger is a modern “Baverican” bier garden. We have more than 60 taps devoted to carefully selected craft beer along with a full liquor bar to serve countless libations and creations. We offer a unique menu of creative sausage dogs and other loosely Bavarian-inspired gastro pub food. We believe in good food, good company and great times. Starts at 6 p.m., 200 anastasia blvd.
EIGHTH ANNUAL ST. AUGUSTINE PIRATE GATHERING: The Ancient City Privateers host this event from 1 to 10 p.m. at Francis Field, 70 W. Castillo Drive. Dress in your best pirate costume (optional) and see the mermaids, sword battles, black powder demonstrations, Blackbeard’s kids show and pirate stunt shows. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for children under 12; $3 for active duty military and veterans (with ID). Continues from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. RUBBER DUCKY REGATTA: The second annual benefit sponsored by Learn to Read of St. Johns County will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Lazy Tides River at the Splash Water Park at Nocatee, 245 Nocatee Center Way, Ponte Vedra.
